Support for Individuals with Parkinson’s Disease

At Recare, we understand the complex and evolving needs of individuals living with Parkinson’s Disease. While many people associate Parkinson’s primarily with movement challenges, the condition often affects cognitive abilities as well, including memory, attention, and executive function. These changes can impact communication, confidence, and daily engagement.

That’s why our approach goes beyond physical support. Our trained Parkinson’s specialists use a personalized, creative-based model that treats the brain like a muscle, one that thrives with consistent stimulation and meaningful connection. Each session is thoughtfully designed with the individual in mind, incorporating music, art, storytelling, and movement. These modalities create opportunities for self-expression, spark joy, and build cognitive resilience in the face of Parkinson’s.

Whether someone is in the early or more advanced stages of the disease, we focus on what can be done, adapting our techniques to meet the person where they are and helping them stay connected, engaged, and empowered
